After witnessing her stylist struggle with flimsy foil sheets, the original owner and founder of Quality Touch designed unique rolled foils and a dispenser to pair them with. It was in this moment that QTouch was born.

The owner and her husband realized that the business was growing fast and they needed help keeping up with demand. They organized a meeting with a local manufacturing company who could streamline their processes. It is in that meeting that they first met Gary Fleming.

In 2005, the owner of Quality Touch decided it was time to retire. She and Gary had formed a friendship over the years in which he worked to help the business succeed, so she approached him with a proposition. She asked if he wanted to buy the business! Gary had grown attached to QTouch, and was honored by Joan's offer. Although he didn't know much about the beauty industry, he accepted and was thrilled to start this new adventure.

Eleven years after buying Quality Touch, Gary needed help! He had successfully grown the product lineup to include way more than just foils and dispensers, partnered with distributors nationwide, and formed strong relationships with industry experts. But he couldn't do it all alone anymore. That's when Sharon, his wife, joined the QTouch team! Sharon had experience in marketing, finance, and customer relations. She also played a huge role in jumpstarting the business's social media presence. Together, the two formed the perfect team.

More exciting changes were on the horizon for Quality Touch. In 2021, as the business continued to flourish, Gary and Sharon had outgrown their space in St. Louis, MO and moved their warehouse and offices to Lake of the Ozarks, MO. In this new space, they could be hands on with all of the day-to-day operations of the business! They also welcomed another team member on board - their daughter, Danielle!

Today, Quality Touch is still growing, still developing new and innovative products, still supporting the beauty industry nationwide, and still family owned and operated! Gary, Sharon, and Danielle look forward to a bright future doing what they love: improving the lives of salon professionals and helping them save both time and money behind the chair with products that they can rely on. Products that are made to last. And to always do so with a focus on customer service and experience!
